What is the duration of each tutoring session?

Each tutoring session typically lasts for one hour. However, the duration can be customized based on the student's needs.

What are class credits?

Class Credits are associated with the package you've purchased. The Basic package provides 8 session credits, the Standard package offers 24 credits, and the Premium package includes 48 session credits. Each session you attend consumes 1 credit, with each session typically lasting 1 hour. Credits are also deducted for last-minute cancellations or absences. Please note, the Basic package does not include the option for cancellations.

How does scheduling work?

Scheduling at Wizert is designed for flexibility and convenience. You can reserve your tutor’s slots for 2-3 sessions per week for the next 3 weeks, based on your availability and the tutor's schedule. For example, you can book sessions on Mar 2 (4pm - 5pm), Mar 9 (6pm - 7pm), and Mar 10 (10am - 11am). This can be set up using the "Session Scheduler'' under the "Others" link in the top menu. If you need to cancel a session, simply send a message through the "Ask Support" menu. Our support team will reschedule it, ensuring you do not miss any classes, with the next session continuing from where the last one left off.

How flexible are the tutoring schedules?

Wizert offers highly flexible scheduling options to fit your child’s routine. You can choose session times that are convenient, whether it’s after school, on weekends, or during holidays. Our aim is to adapt to the student's availability, ensuring a stress-free learning experience.

Can sessions be rescheduled or canceled?

Yes, sessions can be rescheduled or canceled with adequate notice, typically 24 hours in advance. This flexibility allows you to manage unexpected events or changes in plans. Please refer to our rescheduling and cancellation policy on our website for more details.

If there are some emergencies, and you are unable to join a class then inform us at least before 2 Hrs of the scheduled timing so that we can reschedule.

How do I access the tutoring sessions?

Tutoring sessions are conducted online via our platform. You need a stable internet connection and a device with a compatible web browser, such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Our user-friendly platform and interactive whiteboard technology ensure effective communication and collaboration between students and tutors.

How does Wizert help with homework?

Yes, after every class, you are assigned post-class tasks. These assignments provide an opportunity to explore your creativity and apply the concepts taught during the class. Once you submit an assignment, the teacher is notified and provides feedback to help you improve.

To access the assignment files, navigate to Login > Dashboard > My Classes > Class Files and look for latest assignments.

How do I know what has been taught so far?

After every session:

  • You will receive an email with a summary from the tutor detailing what was taught during the class.
  • Navigate to Login > Dashboard > My Classes > Completed Classes to view detailed class summaries and activities.
     

Within the "Completed Classes" section:

  • Review a comprehensive summary of the class, including all activities and concepts covered Messages.
  • Click on the messages section to check for tutor messages or post your own messages to the tutor. View the entire recording of the session to revise your concepts and reinforce learning.
  • See how well you did during the class by checking the points you earned.
  • Receive regular feedback from your teacher. If you haven't received feedback, contact your dedicated Student Relationship Manager for assistance.

How does Wizert ensure the safety and privacy of students?

Are sessions recorded?

What technology do I need to access the tutoring sessions?

To access Wizert's tutoring sessions, you need a computer or tablet with a stable internet connection, a microphone, and speakers. While a webcam is recommended for a better experience, it is not mandatory.

What if I experience technical difficulties during a session?

If you encounter technical difficulties during a session, our support team is ready to assist. Please contact us immediately for help to resolve any issues and ensure a smooth learning experience.

How can I perform basic system checks? I am unable to attend Wizert classes.

I cannot open the Wizert site at all. It is not accessible. What should I do?

If you are unable to access the Wizert website or applications at all, there might be an issue with IP blockage. To resolve this, please follow these steps:

  1. Open https://whatismyipaddress.com/ in your browser.
  2. Note down the IPv4 value displayed on the website.
  3. Share this IPv4 value with our support team.
     

Our technical support team will investigate the issue and provide you with the necessary fixes.

I am having audio issues in the middle of my session with the tutor. What to do?

This issue arises in the case of network bandwidth issues. Please check the following steps:

  • Request the tutor to stop screen sharing and use whiteboard to see if the audio problems fixed or not.
  • Whiteboard takes 10 times less bandwidth than screen sharing
  • This is the reason why the problem surfaces in between the classes and not in the beginning since tutors always prefers to share their screen for the whole session
  • If these problems kindly contact us immediately so that we can look into the problem
     

After the session ends we request you check your network connection. To do this please follow the steps below

  2. Screenshot will look like below

  2. Packet Loss < 1%
  3. Video Chatting should show "Good"
     

If the values are above these then the student system and network is not suitable for our classes and you must consider using another stable network.
